Another Marvel Studios movie is dominating the domestic box office. The sequel "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" raked in 180-million dollars in its debut weekend and smashed a nearly decade-old record for a November opening. That was previously set by "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" back in 2013. Another superhero flick came in second with "Black Adam" grossing eight-point-million dollars. Round out the top five are "Ticket to Paradise", "Lyle, Lyle Crocodile" and "Smile".
Dolly Parton is the winner of a 100-million-dollar Bezos Courage and Civility Award. Handed out by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, the award goes to "leaders who aim high, find solutions and who always do it with civility." The country music legend and philanthropist said she will do her best to do good things with the money. That's nothing new for Dolly. During the pandemic, Parton donated a million dollars to COVID vaccine research efforts. And, since the 1980s, she's been behind a charity to get books in the hands of children around the world.
Police in Arizona say they discovered something interesting in the passenger seat of a vehicle pulled over for a DUI: an owl. Officers from the town of Payson, Arizona found the bird of prey riding shotgun. The driver explained that he bought the bird at a gas station northeast of Phoenix.
The man was later taken into custody for DUI, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of wildlife. The owl was reportedly later picked up by the Arizona Game and Fish Department and will be treated for minor injuries.

Keith Levene, guitarist for the Clash has lost his battle with liver cancer. He formed the British punk rock band in the '70s along with Mick Jones. News of his passing on Friday was first shared online by author Adam Hammond, with who he'd been working on a project. Hammond took to Twitter to say "There is no doubt that Keith was one of the most innovative, audacious and influential guitarists of all time." Keith Levene of The Clash was 65.

The oldest living American is celebrating her birthday. At 115 years old, Bessie Hendricks of Iowa is officially the oldest person in the U.S. Hendricks was born in 1907 and in her lifetime has seen 21 presidents, two world wars, and even the sinking of the Titanic. She rang in the milestone birthday last week with her family. Hendricks is also the fourth oldest person in the world. Frenchwoman Lucile Randon is the oldest at 118.

It looks like Elon Musk is bringing back Twitter's paid subscription service, Twitter Blue,. Twitter Blue allowed users to have their accounts verified with blue check marks for eight-dollars, and thousands of impostor accounts flooded the platform almost instantly. Due to the confusion and disorder it was causing on the site, the service was suspended on Friday. Now, Musk is announcing Twitter Blue may come back as early as next week.
