Now that Governor DeSantis' month long gas tax holiday has begun, I've been noticing that some stations seem to have dropped their prices the full amount of the $25.3 cent per gallon state tax, but others have not. What's going on here? Are some gas stations gouging us by pocketing a portion of the tax break? What does the law say they can and cannot legally do? I've been looking into this and will tell you what I've learned.
