BUD'S BLOG, MONDAY, OCTOBER 3rd, 2022
We'll discuss all the latest news in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian's destructive and historic march through Florida, with special emphasis on the catastrophic damage in the southwest corner of our state, and the record flooding here in central Florida, which is still getting worse in many areas. There's also a controversy brewing among Seminole County public school teachers over the district's decision to reopen schools Monday morning and force teachers to use their sick leave if they don't come in. Many teachers say they and their families have been displaced from their homes by the storm, other don't have power, and feel they are not able to come to work so soon.
