Volusia County Citizens Information Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, and Tuesday, Sept. 27.
Residents may call 866-345-0345 for storm-related information, sandbags, disaster preparation and community resources.
Residents can prepare and stay informed by downloading the Volusia County EM app. The app features weather alerts, preparedness checklists, locations of the nearest open shelter and sandbags locations and more. Residents can also follow Volusia County Emergency Management on Facebook and Twitter. Live press conferences can be seen by visiting our YouTube channel.

Special-Needs Community Preparedness
Residents who require a Special Needs/Medical Shelter are urged to contact Orange County by dialing 3-1-1 or 407-836-3111 to ensure that they have the necessary access to resources and transportation before a storm arrives.
Individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing can start a chat online by visiting ocfl.net/311.

The Osceola County Hurricane Hotline number is 407-742-0000. It is activated when needed, regardless of the current or planned EOC activation level, for citizens who have specific questions or need to speak with an Osceola County representative.

Polk County Emergency Management’s Special Needs Program is designed to provide shelter and/or transportation for residents with medical or physical conditions and/or dependent on medical electrical equipment who require assistance during an emergency.
