Fans of football and rock and roll are mad at NBC after last night's season opener. Folks are upset with the network for cutting into Ozzy Osbourne's halftime show. The Buffalo Bills played the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium, and the rock legend provided the halftime entertainment by playing "Crazy Train" and his new song "Patient Number Nine." NBC, however, played only ten seconds of Osbourne's performance before cutting in to recap the first half. Fans were furious and vented their anger on Twitter, calling NBC's move "puzzling" and saying they'd rather hear Ozzy than a bunch of halftime stats.

A senior center in St. Petersburg is part of what one official calls a real social phenomenon. Residents at The Fountains at Boca Ciega Bay are using robotic dogs to keep them company.
The Florida Department of Elder Affairs passed out the dogs when the pandemic started, but the dogs became so popular that they're still around. One resident says even though his dog is a robot, it's still a companion. Another calls hers the perfect pet because she never has to walk it, feed it or take it to the vet.

It's the end of an era with the passing of Britain's Queen Elizabeth the Second at the age of 96. Elizabeth became queen in 1952, more than two years before I was born, so she's the only queen I've ever known. Four of her countrymen were big fans of the Queen and The Beatles used the final track on their album "Abbey Road" to send a love letter to Elizabeth with the song "Her Majesty."
