Two Air France pilots are suspended after they got into a fight in the cockpit during a flight. It happened last June on a flight from Geneva to Paris. A Swiss newspaper reported that the pilot and co-pilot got into an argument shortly after take-off and grabbed each other by their collars after one apparently hit the other. Members of the cabin crew stepped into the flight deck to calm the situation just as tensions died down. The flight eventually landed safely.

A Mickey Mantle rookie card has become the most valuable piece of sports memorabilia ever sold. The 1952 Topps rookie card of "The Mick" sold at auction on Sunday for 12-point-six million dollars The card features a young Mantle, bat on his right shoulder, and a printed version of the Icon's signature. The card, which had at one point been stored in an attic for over three decades, received a grade of nine-and-a-half from appraisers, who called the card's mint-like condition nothing short of a miracle.
A California man is pleading guilty to smuggling after being caught at the southern border with dozens of reptiles, including snakes, in his pants. Federal prosecutors in Los Angeles announced that 30-year-old Jose Manuel Perez pleaded guilty to importing wild animals into the country. Perez is accused of smuggling over 17-hundred wild animals worth over 700-thousand dollars into the U.S. He was arrested in February at the San Diego border crossing with about 60 snakes and lizards concealed in his pants and jacket. Perez faces over 20 years in a federal prison if convicted.
Britney Spears is out with her first new music in six years. "Hold Me Closer" is a duet with Elton John that includes the chorus from his 1971 hit "Tiny Dancer." Britney Spears offered praise to Elton John on Instagram, and wrote, "Thank you for your generosity and just thinking of me to join you on such a brilliant song." Britney Spears came out with some remixes in 2020, but hadn't released a new song since her album "Glory" in 2016. She celebrated over the weekend by posing nude on Instagram.
Star Trek star Nichelle Nichols will have her ashes sent to space with several other co-stars. Nichols played Lieutenant Uhura on the original show and subsequent movies and died last month. Now her ashes will be added to a United Launch Alliance Vulcan rocket launching later this year. The mission will deliver a lunar lander to the moon to scout for NASA's future Artemis flights before continuing deeper into space. The ashes of Nichols, as well as 'Star Trek' creator Gene Roddenberry, and cast members James Doohan and Majel Barrett Roddenberry will be sent into a so-called "graveyard orbit" around the sun.
Krispy Kreme is celebrating NASA's Artemis One mission with a new donut. The donut has a cheesecake filling and is dipped in cookies n' creme icing that includes chocolate pieces to look like the lunar surface. Krispy Kreme says "The Artemis One mission is a proud moment" so they created a donut to enjoy while fans watch the launch. The limited edition Artemis donuts are only available today.
