CDC admits Covid mistakes

BUD'S BLOG FRIDAY, AUGUST 19TH 2022

To my surprise, a Florida judge has ruled that we're going to get a look at the affidavit from the FBI's raid on former President's home, Mar-A-Lago...at least part of the affidavit. We'll give you the latest developments

right at the start of Friday's show, and then we'll have updates at 7:42 and 8:52 AM from Newsradio WFLA correspondents Rory O'Neill and Jon Decker.

From the Budman's Believe It Or Not file comes the news that the Centers for Disease Control finally admits it seriously mishandled the COVID-19 pandemic. And, as you'll hear, CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky is vowing to reform the agency she still heads. Throughout the pandemic, the CDC has been a lightening rod for criticism from our Good Morning Orlando listeners, and we'll be asking you to sound off on what the CDC did wrong, and what changes you think need to be made moving forward. Governor Ron DeSantis has taken bold steps to make Florida the gold standard when it comes to election integrity, and to that end, you'll hear the Governor announce the arrest of 20 people who face serious charges of voter fraud that could land them in prison! I love what the Governor and the Republican controlled Florida Legislature are doing to ensure we have the most honest elections and the most accurate vote counts possible. How about you? Let's talk about it!

I'll tell you about a new study that claims that music has the ability to relieve pain! While music's been an important part of my life as long as I can remember, I'm not sure I buy into music as a pain reliever. It'll be interesting to hear what the rest of our GMO team thinks about that, and, of course, we invite you to join in the conversation, here on the "50,000 Watt Front Porch" !
