Vince McMahon is retiring as the chairman and CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment--the WWE. His announcement comes after he was accused of paying millions of dollars in hush money to women he reportedly had sexual interactions with. Daughter Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan have been named co-CEOs of WWE. Vince McMahon noted he's still the majority shareholder in the company and will keep supporting it however he can do so.
Disney will celebrate the 30th anniversary of "Beauty and the Beast" with a two-hour, live-action/animated special that will air on ABC on December 15th. Songs from the original 1991 film will be performed in front of a live audience at Disney Studios. A Texas man is earning a Guinness World Record for his collection of memorabilia related to a video game character. Barry Evans of Dayton, Texas, has collected memorabilia related to Sonic the Hedgehog for 30 years. Evans bought a copy of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for Sega Genesis in 1992, and it's been his passion ever since. As a result, he now owns a record three-thousand-50 pieces of Sonic merchandise.
Award-winning director Christopher Nolan is unveiling the teaser for his next film, It's called "Opphenheimer." Cillian Murphy stars as physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, also known as the "father of the atomic bomb." "Opphenheimer" features a star-studded cast, also including Robert Downey Jr., Emily Blunt and Matt Damon. "Oppenheimer" is set to release on July 21st, 2023.

This year's list of Kennedy Center Honorees has been announced and it includes a little band from Ireland. U2 will be honored for their achievement in the arts along with actor George Clooney, singers Gladys Knight and Amy Grant, and Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Tania León. Kennedy Center President Deborah Rutter says this year's honorees represent the best of the entertainment world and have also used their talents to "make the world a better place through art." The Kennedy Center Honors will take place December 4th.

And, finally, a chess robot will likely be reprogramed after breaking a seven-year-old boy's finger during a match. It happened last week at the Moscow Chess Open. The boy went to make a move when the robot's mechanical arm grabbed his finger and clamped down. Adults rushed in to help free the boy's hand. The president of the Moscow Chess Federation said the boy apparently rushed to move before the robot was ready.
