The oldest flight attendant and the Empire strips back in Elsewhere

Carlos Santana is recovering after collapsing during a performance last night. Doctors say the 74-year-old guitarist was overcome by heat exhaustion and dehydration when he collapsed about an hour into the show at the Pine Knob Music Theater near Detroit. Medical staff attended to the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer before he was carried offstage. Santana's manager said he was taken to an emergency room for observation and was "doing well."

A woman has claimed a Guinness World Record for working non-stop as an airline flight attendant. Bette Nash got her start in the skies as a flight attendant in 1957 for Eastern Airlines. Today, 65 years later, she still flies, working for American Airlines. And, at 86 years old, Nash is also the oldest flight attendant. The job has changed a bit over the years, Nash says she's glad she no longer has to meet the weight requirements airlines used to put in place.

A Star Wars-themed burlesque show is coming to San Francisco starting today. It's a parody called "The Empire Strips Back" The show is opening at Chinatown's Great Star Theater for a limited run through August 28th. Critics are calling it , "hilarious" and "alluring." It'll feature performances from Stormtroopers, Twi'leks, Boba Fett, and Princess Leia.

A mandolin that Janis Joplin gave to Jimi Hendrix has been sold at auction. The names of the two rock legends are hand-painted on the mandolin, which also has paintings of flowers and phrases such as "love thy neighbor." The mandolin was reportedly a gift from Joplin to Hendrix. Kruse GSW Auctions says, after an online bidding war, the mandolin has been sold for more than 280-thousand dollars.

A New Jersey dog and her owner are now holders of the record for the world's longest walk. Tom Turcich was inspired to walk around the world after the passing of a good friend. Turcich began the journey in 2015 and a few months into his journey, he adopted Savannah. The pair journeyed together across six continents and 38 countries. The trip took seven years to complete and Turcich said he plans to write a memoir about the adventure.

A new report says the Eiffel Tower is badly in need of repairs. French magazine Marianne got a hold of confidential reports that say the iconic landmark in Paris has a bunch of rust on it as well. It stands at more than one-thousand feet tall. No repairs are planned, but the Eiffel Tower is getting a paint job ahead of the 2024 Olympics.
