It's our first show in the wake of Friday's legal, social and political earthquake triggered by the Supreme Court which, thanks to the conservative majority and the three Trump justices had the votes to overturn Roe vs Wade and end nearly 50 years of a woman's constitutionally protected right to an abortion. Now, abortion right will be determined on a state by state basis. We'll explain what that will likely mean moving forward and the ramifications of the Supreme Court decision here in Florida where a new law banning abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy is set to take effect July 1st.
Our GMO team of Alan, Lizzie, Melissa and yours truly the Budman will have a lot to say on how we feel about Roe V Wade being overturned. As a pro-life conservative, I cheered this landmark Supreme Court decision when it came down Friday because I know millions of innocent little lives will be saved. But I also have some concerns, both short-term and long-term which I'll share with you on the air. But most of all, we want to hear from you. Give us a call at 407 916 5400, text us at 23680, use the new Talkback feature on the iHeartRadio APP, and be sure to vote in our One Word Texting Poll during Monday's edition of Good Morning Orlando. Here's the question:
Do you agree with the U.S. Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade? Text "Yes" or text "No" to 23680.

We'll talk about the new gun law, passed by Congress and signed by President Biden. In terms of gun control measures, the law has more than restrictions than most Republicans wanted and far fewer restrictions than the Democrats have been shooting for.

You probably know what Amazon's Alexa voice sounds like, right? Well, how would you feel if you could change Alexa's voice to sound like one of your beloved relatives who's passed away?!
Amazing new technology promises to make that option available to Alexa users sooner, not later. We'll talk about whether that's something we want, or whether it would be upsetting and perhaps creepy to hear the sound of a dead relative's voice when you call for Alexa to tell you something. I'm a bit conflicted on this and can't wait to learn what my GMO mates think and to hear from you and other listeners about this!
