We'll open the show talking about the brutal Orange County murder of 78-year-old Uken Cummings. Police say he was shot and killed by two people, a man and a woman, who tried to carjack his vehicle in broad daylight Sunday when he came out of a pharmacy. The suspects, now under arrest after some brilliant police work by the Orange County Sheriffs Office, face charges of first degree murder. I'll share some of the details about how this cold hearted killing went down, how the suspects were tracked down, and how race, in my opinion, plays a role in how the community is reacting, even though it shouldn't.
We'll hear what President Biden is saying about crime, guns and policing during his Thursday visit to New York City, where two cops have just been murdered, and where violent crime is out of control due to soft-on-crime policies of leftist politicians.
Newsradio WFLA national correspondent Mike Bower joins us with the latest on the U.S. operation that's resulted in the suicide bombing death of the ISIS leader in Syria. This cowardly terrorist blew himself up, along members of his own family, as U.S. special ops commandos raided his house.
