DeSantis gets 84% Approval Rating from Florida Sheriffs

We'll talk about who's got it right when it comes to fighting crime and keeping the law abiding public safe....soft on crime Democrat governors and mayors, or a tough on crime, law and order governor like Florida's Ron DeSantis? A resounding answer to that question came Monday when 84% of our state's sheriffs showed up at a DeSantis news conference in Jacksonville and sang the praises of DeSantis and his no nonsense crime fighting agenda! We'll hear from the Governor and from Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey and Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd. Then, we want to hear from you on what you like and don't like about the DeSantis crime fighting agenda and how you feel about crime where you live?

We'll talk about new plans just approved, to fight gun violence in Orlando, and plans to make downtown Orlando safer than it is now. Is the Orlando City Council on the right track, or are they missing the boat?

We'll focus on Ukraine...now on the brink, we're told, of a full scale invasion by Russia. I'll make the case that President Biden deserves significant blame for this mess, because his weakness and incompetence have emboldened Vladimir Putin, who now believes he can move against Ukraine and get away with it. Also, Biden's put 8,500 U.S. troops on heightened alert and may deploy them, and perhaps as many as 50,000 American soldiers, to NATO nations in eastern Europe near Ukraine. My question- is Ukraine worth the loss of American lives, or not?

I love the NFL Playoffs, but after the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills Sunday in overtime Sunday night, it's clear to me that the NFL's OT rules have to change. It's just not fair that a touchdown on the first possession in overtime ends the game without the other team ever getting the ball. Some version of the college football overtime format seems like a good plan to me. Let's see what you and our GMO team think!
