'Sex And The City' Heartthrob Jason Lewis Is Now Totally Unrecognizable

It's been 20 years since the world was introduced to actor Jason Lewis, who played male model "Smith Jerrod" on Sex and the City. Many of the hit HBO series' viewers fell in love with the heartthrob's long blonde hair, piercing blue eyes and chiseled good looks, however a lot has changed over the past two decades.

Jason, now 49, appeared on Australia's The Morning Show this week and looked very different. Instead of his flowing yellow locks, he sported shorter, slicked-back dark hair. His clean-cut face was replaced with a rugged beard, and he had a thick brown mustache.

On The Morning Show, Jason discussed why Sex and the City remains popular to this day. He joked, "I think it starts with the title, 'Sex,'" but then explained, "Any good writing speaks for something we all experience and they did such a good job of doing that while keeping it funny and entertaining and sensational. But it was always something that was really heartfelt in each episode."

Since his role on SATC, Jason was on the TV series Midnight Texas and in the Lifetime movies Seeds of Yesterday and If There Be Norms.
