Veterans Day 2025: Central Florida Honors Service Members with Parades, Ceremonies, and Free Events
Communities across Orange, Seminole, and Lake Counties are coming together to honor Veterans with parades, ceremonies, and special programs. From Orlando to Mount Dora, residents can attend free events and tributes recognizing the sacrifices of those who served.
Orange County
- Orange County Veterans Day Ceremony: Tuesday, Nov. 11, 11 a.m.
- Location: Orange County Government Center
- Details: Ceremony marking 50 years since the end of the Vietnam War.
- Free public event with student performances and keynote speakers.
Seminole County
- Seminole State College Veterans Day Celebration
- Date: Tuesday, Nov. 11, 11 a.m.–1 p.m.
- Location: Sanford/Lake Mary Campus
- Details: Free ceremony featuring a color guard, guest speakers, and a scholarship presentation.
Lake County
- Mount Dora – Salute to Service
- Date: Tuesday, Nov. 11, 11 a.m.–2 p.m.
- Location: Gilbert Park, 310 South Tremaine Street
- Details: Guests will enjoy free food, live music, and a heartfelt program honoring all branches of the military.
- Tavares Veterans Day Ceremony
- Date: Tuesday, Nov. 11, 1 p.m.
- Location: Tavares Cemetery & Arboretum, 2055 Dead River Road
- Details: Ceremony includes wreath placements, a patriotic presentation at the American Legion kiosk, and floral displays featuring the city’s official flower, blue plumbago.

- Details: Free admission for veterans and active military, plus buy-one-get-one family tickets.
- Orlando Science Center
- Date: Nov. 6–18
- Details: Free admission for veterans and active duty service members.
- Orange County Regional History Center
- Date: Nov. 7–11
- Details: Free admission for veterans plus two guests.
